IBSA (Institut Biochimique SA) was founded in 1945 in Lugano and acquired by the current owners in 1985, who completely redefined its vision and strategy.
From the late 1980s onward, after taking its first steps in the Swiss market, IBSA embarked on an exceptional and intensive development program, aiming to expand its assets and create a competitive product portfolio covering 10 therapeutic areas, including reproductive medicine, osteoarticular medicine, urogynecology, and aesthetic medicine.
