Brief presentation of the administrative body of Farma Industria Ticino
The General Assembly
The General Assembly has the following jurisdictions:
- appointment of by-laws
- approval and modification of by-laws
- approval of annual accounts and of membership fees
- deliberation on resolutions and measures of general interest proposed by the Committee or by single members
- deliberation on the dissolution of the Association
The Committee
The Committee is nominated by the General Assembly and is formed of a group of from 5 to 9 members. They remain in office for two years and can be re-elected.
The Committee elects from within its group a President, a Vice-president and a Secretary.
The Committee meets at least four times a year.
The Review Office
The Review Office is formed of two account reviewers and two deputies, nominated by the Assembly for two years, and who can be re-elected.
They check the association accounts and deliver a written report to the Assembly.
Regulatory Commission
Made up of a group of regulatory specialists from member companies and which meet upon request by the Committee, principally to review proposals of law changes or other issues in the pharmaceutical field in which FIT is involved.
Training Commission
Coordinates the use and updating of the scientific laboratory sponsored by Farma Industria Ticino and collaborates with the trainers in the revision of training specifications and the appointment of apprentices to various positions within the member companies.
